Enjoy an invigorating cardio workout in the comfort of your den or living room with the ProForm CrossWalk 590 LT treadmill. The CrossWalk 590 LT boasts a powerful 2.75-horsepower motor that's engineered to maintain its strength for long-term use, making it perfect for either light or intense workouts. The tinted LCD display, meanwhile, tracks your speed, time, distance, calories, and pulse, giving you easy access to your workout feedback. Perhaps the most compelling feature, however, is the CrossWalk 590 LT's pair of upper-body arms. Similar to the arms on an elliptical trainer, the built-in arms help you improve your total body conditioning by letting you integrate upper body challenges into a traditional cardio workout. The exercise arms are perfect for people who want to tone and sculpt a bit while also burning even more calories.

The treadmill also includes six CrossWalk and six traditional workout programs--aerobic, weight-loss, and performance--to help you meet your goals. Just choose your favorite workout and it will automatically adjust the speed and incline of the treadmill to maximize intensity. The speed, incline, and time of each workout is predetermined, so the only thing you have to worry about is pressing start. As an alternative, you can use the QuickSpeed and Power Incline controls to instantly adjust the speed from 1 to 10 miles per hour and the incline from 0 to 10 percent.

And as with any good treadmill, the CrossWalk 590 LT is easy on the joints thanks to the SoftFlex cushioning system, which reduces impact on your knees compared to road running. Other features include EKG heart rate grips; a CoolAire workout fan built into the console; an 18-by-55-inch running belt; and a 275-pound weight capacity. The treadmill carries a 15-year warranty on the frame and 90-day warranty on parts and labor.

2.0 out of 5 stars Garbage, March 15, 2011

I got this treadmill about 3 months ago. I bought it brand new but got it on sale for $250 at Academy sports. I thought it was a great deal seeing as how I have seen it listed for almost $1000 on some websites. I feel like I got my moneys worth, however it is not worth more than that. If you pay more than $250 for this treadmill your getting ripped off. After 2 months the stop and the 2 mph buttons quit working, the belt slips if you go over 4.5 mph. I have tighten and adjusted every single way it can be adjusted and it continues to slip if I run on it. If you find this treadmill on sale for less than $300, and you just want it to walk on at a moderate pace than by all means buy it. However if you want something more durable that can handle running or jogging, then spend your extra money on something else.

3.0 out of 5 stars Poor assembly, May 20, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)

The treadmill works great, price was good, but assembly is difficult. It seems most of the bolt holes were drilled by a Blind man ! And don't let anyone tell you it can be assembled by one person.
